Obituary of Bruce Richard Carroll
CARROLL, Bruce Richard – age 77, of Dutch Settlement, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side in the Twin Oaks Hospital on July 21, 2024. Born in Lantz, he was the son of the late Blanchard and Marjorie (Bower) Carroll.
Bruce was employed with the Shaw Group for 36 years and as a security guard at IMP Aerospace for 14 years. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and loved $2.00 Crossword scratch tickets, fishing with his friends, and coin collecting.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Blanchard and Marjorie (Bower) Carroll, his In-Laws Ernest and Norma (Preeper) Mombourquette and Barry Sansom. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Paulette (Mombourquette); daughters, Carla (Douglas) Conrad, Tanya Carroll; son, Frank (Natasha) Carroll; sister, Wendy Sansom; brother, Michael (Marie) Carroll; and In-Laws Elaine (Clyde), Tom (Helen), Stephen (Rozelle) and Jeff (Carla); as well as by many Nieces, Nephews, and Grandnieces and Nephews whom he loved dearly.
He will be laid to rest with his beloved dog, Teenie.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale. A graveside service will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 27, in Christ Church Cemetery, Lantz. Rev. Dr. Jane Magrath officiating.
