Obituary of Roger Ross

ROSS, Roger Dale - 67, Lantz, April 22, 1947 - December 2, 2014. Today Roger left this world to be with his beloved Fran. Roger was born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Harry and Reta (Paley) Ross. Roger worked for 35 years for the Shaw Group. He was an avid reader, loved gardening and playing golf. He will be sadly missed by his stepdaughters, Susie (Shawn) Hines and Elizabeth (Tom) Hill; granddaughters, Alicia and Megan; puppy Mia; sisters Debbie (Glenn) Baker, Penny (Ed) Chapman, Chris (Rick) Isenor, Janice (Bill) Slauenwhite; brother David (Jeff); as well as his nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. Funeral service 11am, Saturday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Patty McKenna and Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating. Reception following the service. Interment in Christ Church Cemetery, Lantz. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Roger may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Alzheimer's Society.
