My heart is breaking having missed the service and just finding out now. I met Michael several years ago when he walked into the Legion in Elmsdale. I know I fell in love with him instantly he was an amazing. He carried photos of old and new and knew everyone he showed me and stories to tell. We talked for hours that first day and many opportunities following. At Christmas must have been 4 years ago Barry and I snuck up to unload firewood for him, we got caught. Michael went into the house got his gloves, crawled on the back of the truck and started chucking the logs Barry and I were like "Mike its all right Buddy you can supervise' He leaped into the air laughing his arms came out and he said.. 'I am only 85' His gentle heart and manner will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with all of you

To uncle Michael. An Angel Kiss - An angel kissed my tears away today when I was sad. I wasn't feeling quite myself my day had been so bad. I felt a warmth brush by me that quickly dried my tears. A gentle, kind and loving touch that seemed to hold me near. Immediately, I felt so much better and the day seemed brighter, too. I quess that's just the way you feel when an Angel comforts you.
