Wilson, Ralph Hanlon- 83, of Enfield, passed away at the Dartmouth General Hospital on Friday June 26th, 2015. Born in Gays River, he was a son of the late James and Muriel (Spares) Wilson. He retired after a long career with the Dept. of National Defence as a munitions inspector. He enjoyed gardening, was a Blue Jays fan, and enjoyed a good game of crib. He dearly loved his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Florence; his children, Cyril (Laura), Andy (Alana), Muriel (Raymond), Catherine (Rob); grandchildren, Jennifer, Mark, Lindsay, Allison, Steven, Robert, Nicholas, Dominique, Sara; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Sheldon, Madison, Olivia, Regan, Camden, Harrison, Theodore; siblings, Marguerite, Irene (Roger), Murray; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Murray “Buddy”, and Stuart; stepmother, Marjorie. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28 from 6-8PM in St Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, from where a funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 29 at 11AM, Fr. Mike Walsh officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. A reception will be held in the church basement following the interment. Family flowers only.
