Obituary of Marilyn Margaret Cantfell

CANTFELL, Marilyn Margaret Belle - age 70, Brookfield, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on Sunday August 9th. She was a daughter of the late Clifford and Victoria (MacKenzie) Boutilier. She was an avid horse lover, enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Marilyn loved gardening and spending time outdoors. She especially loved her beloved dog “Molly” and their daily walks. She was an awesome mom and will be sorely missed. She is survived by her children, Nelson (Debra); Belinda (Mike) Beaver; Michelle (Eldon) Geldart; grandchildren, Keith, Amanda, Morgan, Logan, Sue, Aaron, Haley and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Logan, Amber, and Nash; siblings, Lorraine Isenor, Prince George, BC; Sherman (Jean), Salmon River, NS; Dawson (Barb), Prince George, BC; Virginia (Bobby) Durley, Tracadie, NS; Karl, Antigonish, NS; Karen (Brian) Hallett, Sherbrooke, NS; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Keith Lowell Cantfell; sisters, Lillian, Glenda, Estelle, Sharon; brother, James “Bubby”. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. There will be a private family service only. Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
