I got to know John when I started working at the drugstore in middle in 2004. I thought he was a grumpy man when I started out, until I got to see the kind soul he truly was. He always had some sort of joke or comment that would make me laugh and he even cracked a smile a few times. It was always a joy to see him around middle and have a conversation with him. I will sadly miss John and his quirky smile, I will also miss hearing him call me "squirt". Give them a run for their money up there. Rest in Peace John.
