Obituary of Terje "Terry" Glenjen

GLENJEN, Terje “Terry” –age 73 of Truro Heights Truro passed away peacefully with family at his side on December 14, 2015 at Colchester Regional Hospital. Born in Bergen Norway he was the son of the late (parents) Father Victor Goejrg and Mother Sigrid Amanie. Terje moved to Canada in 1972. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Terje enjoyed boat building, reading and car collecting. He loved the sea and was a chief engineer for 55 years until he retired in 2013. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his beloved dogs Dolly, Gizmo and cat Coco. His is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, Sister Siri- Norway, 6 sons, Donald (Katherine) Truro, Douglas (Darlene) Truro, Viggo, Tom, Andrea, Ova- all of Norway, Daughter Angela (Rob) - Newfoundland, 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. Also many other loving extended family members. Cremation arrangements provided by Ettinger Funeral Home Shubenacadie. Terje will be brought home where the family will have a celebration of his life with other family members and friends at such time Date: January 9/2016 Time: 1pm-4pm. Location: Marilyn and Terje residence: 29 Keywest Court Truro Heights Truro. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the heart and stroke foundation or charity of your choice. A very special thank you to all of the staff in the ICU unit as well as the stroke and palliative care units for their wonderful care.
