Obituary of Marilyn Nancy Hartley

HARTLEY, Marilyn Nancy, age 76 of Lantz, Nova Scotia, passed away in the Palliative Care Unit of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre on December 21, 2015. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Gaetz) Ritcey. Marilyn was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Her gentle and kind spirit will be missed. She enjoyed spending time with her family and travelling around Nova Scotia with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Roland Hartley and daughters Susan (Christopher) Cottreau of Dartmouth and Patty (Wayne) Lloyd of Lantz, grandchildren Mickayla Carmichael of Milford, Brandon Cottreau of Dartmouth and Maddie Lloyd of Lantz and her great granddaughter Addison Weatherby of Milford. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Beverley White. Cremation has taken place, no visitation or service as per Marilyn’s wishes.
