O’BRIEN, Thomas Vaughan – age 85 of Milford, passed away January 11, 2016 in Camp Hill Veteran’s Memorial, Halifax. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Vaughan and Alice (Harrison) O’Brien of Noel. He was a Korean Veteran, serving with the RCR’s and also served 23 years in the RCAF. He was later employed with IMP at Stanfield International Airport. He is survived by daughter, JoeAnne; sons, Doug (Gail) of Shubenacadie and Wayne (Janet) of Pine Falls, Manitoba; two very special grandsons, Brad and Brock (Amanda); step-grandsons, AJ and Darren; great- granddaughters Amelia, Sophie and Maylin; great-grandson Mason; step great-granddaughters Madisyn and Abigail. He was predeceased by his wife the former Annie Harvey and his sister Helen Clarke. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No service by request. Special thank you to the entire nursing staff of Jubilee 6 West Wing, Camp Hill Veteran’s Memorial for the tremendous care given to Dad while he was there.
