Obituary of Ann Denise Benson

BENSON, Ann Denise – age 47 of Enfield, It is with profound sadness, that her family announces her passing on February 3, 2016. Born in Labrador City, Newfoundland, she was dearly loved and cherished by her parents Don and Shirley (Yetman) Benson. Ann was a Registered Nurse at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax for 24 years. Her biggest joys in life were her husband and three children who were the light of her life. She loved to read, paint and travel with her family. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband John Penney; sons, Adam and Noah; daughter, Sarah; brother, Darren Benson (Corinne de Re’land), sisters, Karen Benson (Barry Hillier), Lesa Benson (Darryl O’Keefe), many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at Riverview United Church, Elmsdale. Rev. Catherine MacDonald officiating. Donations may be made to the IWK Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit.
