Obituary of John Gordon Keddy

KEDDY, John Gordon -age 61 of Shubenacadie, passed away suddenly February 4, 2016 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in South Maitland, he was a son of the late Roy and Theresa (O’Leary) Keddy. John worked his whole life as a sandblaster and a painter. In is spare time, he enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Donna Singer-Keddy; sons; Craig (Kandice), Jeff (Amanda); daughter, Shanda (Darren Vissers); grandchildren, Jessica, Austin, Mackenzie, Jace and Emily; siblings, Elsie (Jacques), Carol, Donna (Darrell), Louise (Barry), Lorraine (Colin), Nancy, Roy (Debbie); sister in law Barb; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Ed; sister, Edith Scott and grandson Keith Keddy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, NS.
