I well remember meeting Russell on his farm when I visited as district representative with International Harvester (IH). He had purchased a tractor from JG Parker &Son so I dropped in to say hello. I later met him on several occasions at Parkers and my father ' a farmer trader' in his own right visited as well. Heaven knows what deals were made! Russell's positive attitude gave others a 'lift' just talking to him. My sympathy to the Family. Fond memories.
