Obituary of William Ray MacPhee

MacPHEE, William Ray “Bill” - age 89, of Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 8, 2017. Born in MacPhee’s Corner, he was a son of the late William John and Ethel MacPhee. Bill was a dairy farmer all his life. Left to mourn are his wife, Muriel; children, Bill, Belnan; Steven (Nannette), Milford; Deborah (Mike), Mill Village; Laurie (Helen), St. Catherine’s, ON; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; surviving siblings, Helen MacLean and Gerald (Wilma). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Harry, Earl, Jim, John, Ted, Victor, Walter, Vernon, Carl, Willard, sisters, Florence, Clara, Kit, Gladys, and Estella. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home.  No visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held in the spring.
