Obituary of Sarah Margaret Coupar

COUPAR, Sarah Margaret - age 33, of Grand Lake, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2017 in Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of George Coupar and Cate Rector. Sarah lived life to the fullest. People were drawn to her kind and loving heart and adventurous personality. She loved to travel and had an extensive network of friends throughout North America. Sarah grew up in Lantz and Grand Lake, graduating from King’s Edgehill School in Windsor in 2001, and continued on to graduate from the Academy of Cosmetology in Dartmouth. She will be sadly missed by her father, George Coupar (Carol MacCulloch), Grand Lake; mother, Cate Rector, Enfield; siblings, Brian Coupar, Lantz; Laura (Jason) Rodgers, Grand Lake; Kendal Wilson (Kayla Hoolwerf), Lantz; Daniel Wilson (Julia Dionne), Halifax; stepsisters, Rebecca MacCulloch (Michel Vallières ), Whitehorse; Kate MacCulloch (Randy MacDonald), Victoria; grandfather, Dennis Coupar, Elmsdale; niece, Madelyn Rodgers and nephew, Hunter Rodgers, Grand Lake; step nephew, Ocean MacCulloch and step niece, Solstice Vallières, Whitehorse; partner, Darrin Goodall and step daughter, Taylor Goodall, Hammonds Plains;and several aunts and uncles and many cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Lila Coupar and maternal grandmother, Doreen Whynot. A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held at a later date.
