As a small child in the late fifties I had an irrational fear of Dawsie and would scream and cry when he came near. One winter day He stopped his snow plow at the end of our drive way in Maple Grove and offered me a ride. My fear was overcome in a instant and I climbed into the cab and went for a ride. I went on to a nearly forty year career in the trucking industry, possibly because of that ride. Thanks Dawsie!!
