PASHKOSKI, John - age 77, of Elmsdale and formerly of Springhill, passed away peacefully in the QEII Infirmary, Halifax, surrounded by the love of his family on May 2, 2019. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Brownie and Eileen (Colwell) Pashkoski.

John was a caring, loving soul. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and good times at the lake with friends and family. 

John is survived by his wife, Sharron; children, Gordon (Anne Moore), Michael (Barb Phalen), Marianne; grandchildren, Amanda, Melanie, Kevin, Dwight, Rachel, Claire; great grandson, Abel; brother, Alexander.

He was predeceased by his parents; son, Dwight.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

Visitation will be held 11am -1pm, Monday, May 6 in St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield from where a funeral liturgy will be held at 1pm. A celebration of life will follow in Branch 48 Elmsdale Legion.

Donations in John’s memory may be sent to his family at 2 Pinegrove Drive, Elmsdale, NS, B2S 1J4 to be forwarded  to John’s favourite charity.

The family wishes to sincerely thank all the many medical professionals who supported John over the last few years.
