Obituary of Helen Janet Ellis

ELLIS, Helen Janet - age 93, Stewiacke, passed away suddenly May 16, 2019 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late James and Elsie Mae (Campbell) McDonald.

Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Helen is survived by her children, Wayne (Debbie), Robert (JoAnn), Heather (David); grandchildren, Ryan, Terri, Jim, Greg, Angie, Andrea; great grandchildren, Addison, Ivy, Maxwell, Eli, Keira, Brady, Rhett, Sutter; siblings, Lloyd (Marg), Irma (Ned).

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice; daughter, Debbie; sister, Elva; brother, Jimmy.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Sunday May 19 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, May 20 in Stewiacke Baptist Church, Pastor Joseph Mitchell officiating. Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
