Obituary of Debbie Marie Morrison (Crant)

MORRISON (CRANT), Debbie Marie-age 55 passed away peacefully May 25, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruby (Wamboldt) Crant.

Debbie had a passion for travelling with Ted, and Punta Cana was their favorite destination.  She loved to host family gatherings. Debbie was renowned for her chocolate chip cookies and pies.

She will be sadly missed by husband, Ted; siblings, Billy (Betty) Crant, Gennie Himelman, Marjorie (Mike) Lepage, Maxine (Rick) Fancey; sister in law, Alice Crant; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Harold Chaddock; brother, James Crant; mother in law, Harriette “Hattie” Morrison.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held 11am Friday, May 31^st in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating. A reception will follow in the Elmsdale Legion, Branch 48.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
