Obituary of Therese Anne LeBlanc

LeBLANC, (Boucher) Therese Anne, age 60, Elmsdale; passed away peacefully on August 12, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro after a 5 year battle with cancer.  

Born in St. Phillippe, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Anita (Gallant) and Alfred Boucher;

She was the youngest of 10 growing up in Moncton, NB; raised her two children in Minto, NB; and spent the last 5 years living in Elmsdale, NS. Therese fought hard to extend the time she had with family.  Despite treatments, she always seemed up for the challenge of playing board games with her grandchildren or taking out a box of crayons/colored pencils to bring an image to life. Her passions included hunting, fishing and gardening. She will be missed dearly by those that loved her. 

She is survived by her son, Leonard (Heather) Boucher; daughter, Samantha LeBlanc; grandchildren Evangelina and Tristan Boucher; sisters Ann (John) Crawford, Adele Cormier, Lena (Ken) Steeves; brothers Timmy (Lorraine) Boucher, Ivan (Elizabeth) Boucher and Edgar Boucher; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers Frances, Edward and George Boucher.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.  There will be no service or visitation.
