Dennis will be remembered as a kind gentle soul, always with a smile, always a conversation. I got to know Dennis as Safety Officer for Base Logistics but also we shared the same Chiropractor . My deepest condolences to Betty, family and friends.
Till we meet again Dennis.

MEMBERS OF THE SHUBENACADIE LIONS CLUB
As stated in the last two quotes of Dennis’s Obituary
(it bares repeating):
“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they have the heart”
“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”
Dennis’s volunteerism through almost three decades of service to the Shubie
Lions Club is a Testament to his adherence to these two tenets.
King Lion Dennis’s passing, while still serving as President of the Club, ends an unbelievable term extending over a decade in this position.
His dedication and especially his leadership is an example of Community Service that this world so desperately needs.
True to his life long commitment, his voluntary journey does not end with his passing, as in accordance with his wishes his remains have been donated to Science.
We as Lions’ will continue to serve our community
Upholding the Lions Model. “We Serve”.

Dennis How will we miss you?
1) Your everlasting friendship since we crossed paths so many years ago.
2) You were always there when you were needed for any and all
favours.
3) Your companionship which seemed always taken for granted, but
absolutely essential (you know what we mean)
4) Your considerable computer support and assistance was always
appreciated.
The list could go on and on, but to repeat # 1.
Your everlasting friendship and support will never be forgotten.
It is always great to have another Angel in our lives to help us make
this world a better place to live.
To quote from the Lions Invocation:
“To do thy will Lord, Make us Strong”
“To Help the Weak and Right the Wrong.”
Till we meet again. Rest in Peace.

I had the honour of working with Dennis and Betty. Dennis was a likeable, much respected and dedicated member of our Logistics team. His committment to his duties and our employees in his role as Safety Officer was admirable and made me a big fan. Denise and I want to send our love and deepest condolences to Betty and family.

I had the very distinct pleasure of working with both Denis and Betty. Denis, always quick with a joke, but equally quick to point out when he disagreed with something I planned to do, or had done, I was always very grateful for his honesty. He was a very big part of the success that the Formation Logistics team was able to achieve, and while I did not know Denis in his private life, I can only imagine that his family was blessed to have him around. Rest In Peace my friend and look over those that you leave behind.

I had Dennis as a neighbor for many years. I remember his vegetable gardens so well. He was an awesome neighbor always willing to lend a hand. Rest well and I know you will be helping in heaven.
