My Aunt Carol was a woman who touched my heart and left so many memories that I will never forget. She was my summertime Mom. From letting me drive her Luxury cars (Grand Marquis .. lol), getting me in trouble by allowing me to bleach my hair, buying anything I wanted because I threatened her that I’d tell my mom she was mean to me (of course I don’t remember this), the homemade muffins every morning for breakfast, trying on all her shoes from the rack behind the spare room door, running around the yard in the rain, thinking it was the greatest thing to be able to run to the mail box to get the mail, the annual trips to the wildlife park, making me the most gorgeous quilt I’ve ever seen, teaching and allowing my husband to work on Aaron and Joy’s quilt, and last but not least I would leave notes on her fridge when it was time for our visit to end and the following summer those notes I left would still be there. This is the Aunt Carol I will remember and never forget. Love you and Miss You !! Love, Lisa and Family !!
