Obituary of Carol Leannah MacKinnon

MacKINNON, Carol Leannah – age 66 of West Indian Road, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 15, 2020.  Born in South Maitland, she was a daughter of the late George and Eileen (Bilby) Manley.

Carol enjoyed quilting, playing bingo, doing puzzles and baking. Her “out of this world” cheesecakes will be missed at family gatherings. 

Carol is survived by her husband, Floyd having just celebrated their 38^th anniversary on July 10, 2020; brothers, Vernon (Joyce) Manley, Truro, Kevin (Valerie Bolivar) Manley, Clifton Park, NY; sisters, Sandra (Ray) MacKinnon, West Indian Road, Donna (Paul) Brimicombe, Nairn Centre, ON; several nieces and nephews; brothers in-law and sisters in-law.  She will be greatly missed by nephew, Aaron (Joy) MacKinnon, nieces, Michelle McCendie and Lisa (Jason) Morrell, as well as by her circle of friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother, George Jr.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, an intimate family service will take place at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
