Sending condolences to all of Haley's family - She was a wonderful friend and neighbor to both my Mom and Dad and to my brothers and I as well! I had planned to attend the service but got up this morning with a chesty cold - a gift from my grandkids - and given our current situation feel it best not to carry my germs anywhere near!
Haley was a special lady who will be missed by many - she made the best donuts (Well remembered from my childhood) and always enjoyed time with family, friends and neighbors! Rest in Peace Haley -
With deepest sympathy,
Eleanor and Walter

Marina, Estelle, and all of Haley's family, especially you nieces that were so attentive,
Our sincerest condolences in your loss of your sister, your dear Aunt,
Loss is always hard but Haley counted her blessings, as do we for all the good times we enjoyed together! It has been a special friendship since my knocking on Haley's door in 1992. She always made me feel the work we did on recording the Harvey's family history was so very important to preserve the supreme sacrifice Burrill and Marven had made for all our freedoms.
Then came "the call" from our friend Haley. She chatted about how things were changing as she was aging and she needed a good place to live. Serenity Lodge was her LTC choice and she came sight unseen, "never regretting it"- her words not ours. Our Serenity Lodge team and all our residents have enjoyed the last 6 plus years together. The Doctors may not have know what all the changes were, but Haley knew she was declining. She got her final wish a peaceful ending without going to a Nursing Home. God blessed her indeed with that final wish. She knew she was loved by many and she she came to be ready to join her dear Marney after all those years of waiting. Michelle and the ladies enjoyed their Sunday afternoon spiritual service, on what would be Haley's last day together with her lodge friends. Dana was gifted with journeying with Haley, with reassuring companioning, on what would be Haley's last night at the Lodge, and on earth.. I am sure Haley tucked "us all in her pocket" as Dana kissed her goodbye, and shared how loved she was.
May the choirs of angels above; sing all her favorite tunes as they gather around her, welcoming her to her eternal home, where no pain or sorrow can touch her again.
With gratitude for all the great memories,
Love and hugs,
Christine and Wayne too

Haley was a lovely soul who always met us with a smile. She and Marney worked in my family’s lumber operation; she was the camp cook and that’s where I first met her. Marney worked in the woods with Dad and the other men. In later years she resided at the Serenity Lodge and we often saw here there when visiting Frances Ferguson. We hope she is at peace with her family now. Helen Tanner Ferguson and Lorne Ferguson

To the dearest, kindest lady we have ever met. Haley was our daughter Jaime's babysitter for a few years. She and Marney were so good to her. She loved them both very much. We were so happy to get to visit Haley at the home and I got to talk with her on her Birthday this year. Our sincere Condolences to her family and friends. RIP my dear lady. You are now with Marney. Haley was a lady who lived her sense of right and wrong through acts of kindness, always among the first to offer help in times of joy and difficulty. She has been a great example to me of how to find happiness through involvement in the world around each of us. Let us all do something kind for someone near us in honour of her life well lived.
