To the Singer family,
Graham and I send our sincere condolences to your family, on the passing of your Mom. We know she will be missed, as there was no one prouder of her children and Grandchildren, and you were always there for her.
We remember your Mom from years ago when we would gather as a family for different celebrations, and although contact has been gone for many years, memories last forever. She will be reunited now with her Hubby and Daughter, and know she has left behind a legacy that will last forever. Peace and Blessings be with you all during this sad time.
Graham and Judy Brundage

I taught with Shirley at Acadia Elementary School for years. We shared our love of teaching and many, many laughs throughout those years! After we both retired, Shirley would occasionally surprise us by coming through our side door and into our kitchen asking, “What’s for supper and I hope you have dessert this time?”
She would never feel the need to knock and I loved that! We would then talk about our time at Acadia School and share some great memories. I will definitely miss those chats!
We are so very sorry for your family. Sending you all love and hugs at this sad time!
Take care,
Valerie and Rod MacDonald

Sending my sincerest condolences to the family at this time of great sadness and loss. Mrs. Singer was my Primary teacher at Acadia School many years ago. Her kindness and compassion was genuine and had an incredible impact on me. Once I moved on to higher grades and left Elementary School, I continued to come back to visit her. Her love of learning inspired me. I remember she told me I could be anything I wanted to be when I 'grew up' and she encouraged me to pursue post secondary education. After her retirement from teaching, it was always a lovely treat to see her at our local grocery store or even at Costco! She always had a smile on her face, a big hug for me, and was interested to know how I was doing.
Praying that your memories of her and hearing of the positive impact she has had on others, provide comfort to you all.
With sympathy,
Leanne MacKeen (nee MacDonald)

Sending sincere condolences to Shirley's family. My Mom, Eileen (Bilby) Manley was a close friend of hers growing up together in South Maitland. Guess the last time I would have spoken with her would have been at my Dad's visitation in 2003. Thoughts and prayers going out to you all at this sad time.
