Obituary of Kenneth Leon Reynolds

REYNOLDS, Kenneth Leon “Ken” – age 88, of Truro, formerly of Bedford, passed away on February 21, 2022 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Peterborough, Ontario, he was the son of the late Gordon and Helen (McCulloch) Reynolds. 

Ken joined the Canadian Navy at the age of 19 and served during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with the Halifax Housing Authority and worked in support of mentally challenged individuals in the Halifax area.  He also worked at the Halifax Dockyard as building manager of D200 for over 10 years and retired from there.  Later in life, he was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker for 13 years.

Ken is survived by his wife, Margaret (Meagher); daughter, Erika (Robert) Weymouth; grandchildren, Victoria (Jake) Chaisson, Hilary (Nick) Angevine, Ryker Wanhala, Baileigh Weymouth and Caelum Weymouth; great grandchildren, Cali and Austin; sisters, Carolyn Williams and  Diane Harrison; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
