Big Al my good friend. I just learned about your passing when I got back to Canada on Monday. I am a little lost for words as when I went in for coffee, the first thing I said is how Big Al doing? Then they told me and my eyes swelled up my friend. Al you always had that huge smile and always a positive outlook especially when it came to your family and friends. Loved our chats at Basha’s pizza when I would come in for a visit and our morning coffees together my friend. Will miss ya buddy. Your Mountie friend Joe TAPLIN

Sending sincere condolences to Al’s family.I worked with Al at Forbes Chev Olds and there was nothing he couldn’t fix.In his retirement years he would drop off a pizza at our house and was known to have a good chat and a beverage.So very sorry to hear of his passing.Sincerely Joan and David Spicer

Such a jovial man! I guess that was one reason he made such a great Santa during Christmas at Ralph’s. So many fun times come to mind and Al was in the midst of it all.

I very much enjoyed having AL as my partner for The Games at Garry Marshall's in Pictou at the last Ralph's Reunion. We enjoyed being the biggest losers but we were winners in the fun time we shared.
