Warm memories that go back to 1954. I served as student and ordained minister within the United Church, until 1959. Mary was a vital part of the community and is recalled as a fun loving, warm individual who loved her family, community and church. Her iimprint will long be honoured by all who knew her. Rest in Peace!
June joins me in these words of condolence.
Blessings,
Doug & June MacEachern

Sincere condolences to Mary’s family. She was a lovely lady who I enjoyed having chats with. I met her, John, Jim and Elouise in Florida at Lakewood South many years ago. My mother and father in law, Gordon and Mildred Cole wintered there as well and we would visit. Since we were from the same area at home we got to know them all and everyone always enjoyed their company. Thinking of you all at this difficult time, heaven has gained another angel.

"Mrs. Withrow" was my grade 3 teacher at Rawdon District School. I absolutely adored her.
I will NEVER forget when she would let me proudly show off a new batch of chicks or ducklings to our class.
She taught me with a firm hand but was always kind and instilled in me a passion for writing with articulation and reading.
She would cheer her students on with whatever we did and I know I cried on her shoulder numerous times.
She had no time for foolishness but always had time for fun.
My respect and love for this lovely woman continued to grow as our families got to know each other.
Jim and John greatly helped my Dad get started with raising cattle and growing gardens.
I LOVED delivering vegetables to the very first Withrow's Stand and always looked forward to seeing Mary with her infectious laugh, beautiful smile and a big bear hug.
My deepest sympathy to the entire Withrow Family.
Ruthie, John, Harold and Christine...I am thinking of you during this most difficult time.
Love Cathy

We would like to extend our most sincerest condolences, deepest sympathy and love to the Withrow Family.
We, as a family, adored Mary.
She was a kind gentle soul with a quick wit, love of a good laugh and had one of the sweetest smiles.
She taught our children and kept them in line, and for that they had a deep respect and love for her.
And as we started our farming adventure, the Withrow Family became extremely great friends of ours. They were, and still are, a family who are always ready and willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the time of day or night.
It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known this strong, hardworking and loveable lady.
"Mary, we will never forget you.
While we mourn the loss of you, we are comforted by knowing you are now wrapped in the arms of God and reunited with your precious husband, John, as well as the rest of your family who went before you.
May you rest in peace."
At this time, we are thinking of all who loved and cherished this beautiful woman.
May your memories bring some comfort during this difficult time.
With Love from The Arscott Family.

As we celebrate Mary, we remember the kindness and smile that Mary shared with everyone.
She loved social events and especially loved when the farm market was open for the season. She would be found greeting every customer, both locals and visitors to the Rawdon Hills.
We have missed you for years and are happy you are at peace. Back with John and Family.

I loved Mrs. Withrow, she was a special lady and teacher. She was known to be a strict teacher at Rawdon District and many of my school mates were a bit afraid of her by times but I always had a special bond with her for some reason. She only wanted the best for her students. My condolences to all of her family, I’m so sorry for your loss but know she touched so many lives, mine included. Prayers and love to you all.

My thoughts and prayers to you all. I was a student of hers in 1983 and from there on she has always been one of my favorite people. Through out the years seeing her at your fruit and garden center it didn't matter how long it had been since we had seen each other she always would give me a huge hug and ask if I was fiddling around and keeping up with my music. She also made it a point to say how she was so happy that I had been a student of hers. She was truly a wonderful person. Hugs
