To the family.
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Elsie or her late husband,however,growing up on a jersey dairy farm my parents and brother Harry ,Edith and Robert Pernette knew them very well. I am sure there were many cows being traded or sold between the Bond and Pernette families. Both my parents spoke of Elsie and Jim so often that I felt like I knew them.
My sympathy and prayers goes out to all the family during this sad time. I hope there are still jerseys in your family as it was a sad time when they all left the Pernette farm.
