Dear Don, Cathy, Natalie, Lisa & Families,
I can't tell you saddened I was to hear of Marg's passing. She was a wonderful person and I have many fond memories of my association with her through the Nova Scotia Council for the Family. I worked with her a number of times organizing for the silent auction for Amanda's Gift. Needless to say, Marg had the lion's share of the work done before anyone else got on the scene. It was also my honor and privilege to introduce her and say a few words about her when she was an award recipient for the Council. ....words that really didn't adequately capture her dedication and commitment to children and families in Nova Scotia. She gave so much of herself, without complaint and regardless of what challenges she was facing. No matter what age or stage we are at in our lives it is never easy to say good-bye to a loved one, and most especially to a Mother. I hope you will all find the comfort and solace you need at this difficult time in the love and support of your family and friends, and in your many happy memories of Marg. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
