In doing some research this morning I found out that uncle Gordon had passed away. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the family and also offer the condolences from my sister Monique and brother Louis

My parents, Marcel and Emerise asked me to pass along their condolences. They are very sad to here of Gordons passing and unfortunately Dads health does not allow him to travel very far from home. As a child growing up in L'Ardoise I can remember Gordon bringing boxes to the house that held all kinds of treasures, especially to young ones who didn't get to stores except for Willie C's. There was anything from school supplies to odds and ends that we had no idea what they were but did we ever look forward to getting them!

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I am related to Gordon through my Mom the late Irene (Briand) Johnson. Although I never met him personally I do feel like I knew him. We visited his Mom Aunt "Maggie" at L' Ardoise many times over the years and she would talk about him constantly; she was obviously very proud of her son and after reading his memorial I can understand why. I am honored to share his name along with my late Uncle Gordon Briand of Montreal. I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Peters family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
So shocked to hear of Gordon's passing but we are so glad to have had a short visit you and Gordon at the Rath Centre this winter between our grandson's hockey games. We often mention you guys when we think of our earlier years when we lived on McLeans St. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Faye and your family at this difficult time.
