So very sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor, friend and like a second mother to me and a grandmother to Taylor ! So many great memories, taking her to wing night at Whistlers and getting the waitress to serve her a shot of whiskey in a tea cup so know one would know ! Having her over for supper and all the laughs and teasing Beaver. The baking treats she would send over were amazing ! Such a kind soul, but spoke her mind, but it was in a way .....I guess it was Ruth's way ! lol You always felt her love no matter what she had to say. She had a sharp mind, always asked about a few of my family members by name over the years since we moved back to Cape Breton,and she met alot of my large family. Thinking of you all in this time of sorrow, my deepest condolence's. She will be missed. RIP Ruth.
