Obituary of Ruth McKillop M CKILLOP , Ruth Jennie, age 92, of Stewiacke, passed away January 5, 2018 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mary Frances Smith. She was a strong willed woman. She loved playing cards and enjoyed knitting, needle point and bowling. Ruth enjoyed a good laugh and was a wonderful cook. Ruth will be sadly missed by daughters, Earline (Bob) Taylor, Susan Woodworth; grandchildren, Jodi Ybarra (Tom), Jennifer (Shawn) Fancy, Wade (Andrea) Taylor, Robert (Wanda Lee) Werenka, Troy Werenka (Jill), Stacey Werenka (Susan), Trevor (Cindy) Werenka, Emily McKillop; great grandchildren Jillian, Hilary, Caitlin, Stephanie, Maranda, Aidan, Taylor, Shawndelle, Trinity, Cameron, Chelsea, Christian, Brandon, Nikolaus, Jeffery, Chandler, Connor, Cullen and Tanner. She was predeceased by her husband Milt, son, Mark, granddaughter, Abbey and brothers, Roy and Robert. Visitation will be held from 2pm until time of service at 3pm, Monday, January 8, 2018 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Martin Reid officiating. Spring burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, East Stewiacke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pine Grove Cemetery in memory of Ruth.
