We were so saddened to hear of Jeans passing. She and Alf were part of a large group of friends who danced and partied and travelled together. Jean was full of fun! To all the Scothorn \ Howlet family So sorry to hear of Jean's passing. We always felt such a connection from our brother Russell's friendship with Reg and your family. Each time we had a chance for a chat it was a joyfilled event. I am so sorry I missed the opportunity to attend her funeral. She will be missed by many including us. I had the privilege of being the niece of Jean Scothorn which had many benefits! She always made me feel special, we Had so many great times when I was young at the farm on summer vacations, and later in life our girls weekends in River John. Aunt Jean always thought of everyone else before herself, she taught me the true meaning of love and generosity for both family and friends, She was a huge influence in my life, it was an honour to be in her life
